New springs/shocks all around, how long before alignment?

Hello

I recently had the springs & shocks replaced on my '97 z28.

I went with OEM springs, and monroe sensatrac shocks.

Since the current tires are already shot and will be replaced, the tech recommended letting the new springs settle for 2-3 weeks before getting the new tires mounted and having the front end aligned.

What do you folks think is sufficient amount of time for this settlement to take place. Would driving the car vs having it sit affect amount of this settle?

Thanks!

When I put on my Eibach springs and monroe/kyb shocks, I just took off. I didn't let it sit there and my car's suspension is still fine.
