need help removing front shock (left)

With removal of the brake booster, how or what do you use to keep the lines plugged to the ABS modulator. To drain the brake fluid, remove two lines and two bolts to get starts seems pretty easy, but I haven't found anything to use to plug the two lines so no air get to the ABS system.

If you are just removing the shock, you don't need to open any brake lines. Just unbolt the master cylinder and gently move it out of the way of the bolts.

Once you open up the lines, you have air in the system.... too late now.

Step #2 of my online front spring/shock replacement procedure:
2. Remove the two nuts that hold the brake master cylinder to the power booster unit. Do NOT disconnect any brake lines. Pull the cylinder away from the studs so it can be pushed gently toward the passenger side when you remove the two Torx head bolts for the upper spring seat.
Maybe the setup is slightly different on the 98-02 cars??????

Wheres the link to your HOW TOO on shock replacement, being whats written in the Haynes manual must not be accurate. I am looking at replacing all the bushings and upgrading (in time) most of the suspension components.

FYI, also loosen the two nuts/bolts that support the ABS block to minimize bending the brake lines.
