Smile Need help with a nice loud thump!!!!!

Hello-

I have a 94 Z28 with about 150,000 on the car she is my daily driver and dosent have any major mods. I imagine the cause of my loud thump when i go over dips is my aftermarket torq thrust II but hell they look good. Back to the problem passenger side thump going over bumps and dips after inspection, i can get the lower control arm to make a similar sound by moving the suspension with a pry bar. Is anyone familiar with this type of problem? A car like mine with that many miles problems are bound to arrive with the suspension and it appears that the rubber bushing is shot. Does anyone know if i can replace the bushing or do i have to get a whole control or hell am i even on the right page. Thanks a ton, BRC

Damaged bushings are a well known cause of thumps. & Yes lower control arm bushings are available separately.

Has anyone done this before? Is this really difficult? Any speciality tools required? Would i be required to burn out the old bushing? or does it just pop out? General step by step or a link. Anyone know of a good cheap poly bushing set for the front end? Ty
