master cyl

Witch line comming out of the master cyl is the front brakes? The front one or the rear one. The line lock i have with the pre bent lines is the rear one but my dad swares up and down the front it for the front and rear for the rear

should be etched in the cyl...if i remeber correctly. all should be etched fr fl rr and rl.

when you press on the brake pedal, you push in the rod on the master cylinder
the first half of the cylinder that gets pressure goes to the front brakes, the second half goes to the rear brakes

when you look at it from under the hood its backwards
so the brake line closest to you is for the rear brakes and the one closest to the firewall is for the front brakes

Yep... only two connections on the master cylinder.... back connection to the front brakes (where your line lock goes) and front connection to the rear brakes.
