Made in China rotors

Well just ordered some Hawk HPS pads and now I'm looking for rotors. So after searching in here I see some of yall run the Autozone duralsts. So went by the AZ close to my home today and looked at the box and it said "Made in China". Hell, it even said "Hecho in Chine"! So I said no thanks and left. So my question is besides Bendix, what other rotors are made here in the good ol' USA?

What about mismatching brands? Brembo in front and Wagner in the back. Any problems with that set up?

Shouldn't be a problem. I ran Wagner up front and stock out back for a while.

Well just got my Brembo fronts. I should have researched better because they are made in mexico. I'm probably going to buy some Bendix rears this weekend from Advance Auto, I hope they are Made in USA...

I probably wouldn't worry too much about where the parts are manufactured. Reality is alot of this stuff is outsourced overseas and alot of the big names in the auto parts business do it as well.

Well it's either Bendix or Wagner. Cast your votes.

I don't remember the brand of my rotors and pads but they are made in Canada and seem to be pretty solid quality.

Got them from pepboys, so if you go there they should have what you need. They were in stock too.

Or pet food.... or toothpaste........ etc. There are apparently no quality standards in China, and they seem to take great pleasure in screwing us.

I usually don't get too concerned where something is manufactured but China is the exception to that rule. I would not use any car part made in China when given a choice.

Well I just opened up my box of Wagner rears and I'm pissed. One of the rotors is very good quality and clearly says "Made in the USA". The other has no markings and is very light. Both are labeled the same part number from Wagner but are obviously not the same rotor. Am I missing something here?

Anyone had problems with Rockauto? I emailed them yesterday about the bad rotor and no response yet.
