Wink LT1 to LS1 brake swap brake lines

Does anyone have any suggestions on some different brake lines to use for the LT1 to LS1 brake swap?I have seen some people say to bend the existing lines on the front but they are still a little tight and do not look right. What about the rear lines? Is there something off say a vette or truck that works well?I would like to go with some new stainless lines that would bolt right up to the LS1 setup that I am putting on my 1997 SS LT1.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had custom lines made by Goodridge back in 2002 - combined both their 93-97 and 98-02 parts list. The SPL means special - you should be able to call them and order.

Stainless Steel Braided Brake Hoses (Goodridge G-Stop p/n 12217-SPL)

Goodridge Fluid Transfer Systems

I think people use C4 hoses on the front, IIRC.

How much extra hose is needed on the front lines to have enough slack? I found a couple of fabricators, one on each end of the country, that can make custom stainless steel braided brake hoses.

When I did my C5 brake swap I used the corvette brake lines, which were aobut an inch longer, and they were just right.

Re: LT1 to LS1 brake swap brake lines

Bumping an old thread here,

Is it safe to say that the best Brake Hoses to use are Stock C5 front hoses when doing this LT1-LS1 Front brake conversion??

I just did this conversion, and dont like my current temporary set-up with just the bent bracket and stock Hose technique!
