LT1 to LS1
Re: LT1 to LS1
Got my calipers, rotors and spindles on ebay around 220ish. I bought the Hawk pads and i think they were ~$70. Rotors had to be turned though and that was another $40. Definatelly worth the money.
Re: LT1 to LS1
Some people say its as noticeable as swapping 4.10's on a 2.73. I just got the fronts done. I think problems with the LT1-LS1 rear brakes happen when changing out the rear end to a 9" or 12 bolt
, thats why i didnt do them. Someone correct me if Im wrong.

You can get the calipers, rotors and brake pads from napa, autozone, advanced, pep boys, or any other place. Calipers would be around $40 each + core which you might be able to slip the LT1 calipers for core
The rotors are cheap and the pads are cheap... probably around $100 total. The only thing you need are spindles and hub assemblys. You'de probably find em in a junk yard for cheap... Probably around $50-$100. Brake lines can be ordered online I believe you need em 3" longer then stock LT1 or maybe bend the brake line bracket a little... not sure since I haven't gotten the parts yet.
figure between $150 and $250 depending.
