LS1 Conversion Package

I just won the package on Ebay, what should I be looking for as far as things that might be wrong with them? I plan on putting them on as is for now, and then about a month from now, putting new rotors and pads in, just dont have the money for that right now. Thanks for any help in advance.

I won the same package on eBay a few weeks ago, but I have yet to actually put the brakes on. I imagine I will be doing it in a few days, since I just got my car back from the shop on Tuesday. If you haven't seen it before, there's an install guide at http://www.fbody.com/tech/details.cgi?id=30. One thing he mentions is to make sure that the steering knuckles aren't bent. Hopefully my install goes off without a hitch, as does yours...

straight spindles, any visible damage, and that the guide pins on the caliper bracket are not rusted solid in there

Measure from the casting flash in the center of the Tie rod mount on the knuckle to the Outside of the rotor. Both sides should be even (i think it was like 3"). If the knuckles are bent, these will not be even. Check the hubs to make sure they are good and have no wobble. A tiny wobble when they are off the car becomes a big wobble on the car. Make sure you get the brackets for the Brake lines as well, because the lines mount up different than the LT1 lines.
