Re: loweringg

How far do you want to drop it? What is the car used for - drag racing, auto-x/road racing, just for daily driving?

Re: loweringg

Lowering a 4th Gen doesn't do much for traction with regard to off-the-line performance. You will need lower control arm (LCA) relocation brackets, and an adjustable panhard bar. In high HP situations, an adjustable torque arm would also be a good idea.

SLP is selling Eibach springs for $300. You can get them cheaper elsewhere. Pro-Kit for 1" drop, Sportline for 2" drop.

The suggestion that was made in the other thread you responded to is worth checking out. I wasn't impressed with the Eibach Pro-Kit when I was running it.

It's only "good" if the shocks are correctly matched to the springs. I'd trust Sam Strano's ability to do that, before I would trust SLP. At least take the time to look at what Sam offers. He has a proven record as a race driver.

Call Sam and talk to him about it. He can help you choose the correct setup for your application/price range.
