Lowering Springs New Shocks Needed Also?

i have a 96 camaro z28 with 19's. adding the 19's even with smaller tires made my maro sit a little higher. i am looking to get some lowering springs. i heard that i will need to get new shocks and struts also to accomodate the lowering springs. i didnt think this was neccesary, is this tru that i should look into getting new shocks also. thanks

yea upgrading your shocks is a big plus when lowering the car. without new shocks with good quality you wont be happy with the rough ride you will get. most ppl enjoy this combo for the price. http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=70002
