The game was "name the part" not guess what the part is and what its made out of. I would guess oxidized steel.

Question:

Are you referring to #1, #2, or #3?


If I'm not completely off my rocker (and I could be), #1 is the panhard rod and #3 is the sway bar, but I have no idea what #2 is, and I thought you were referring to #2.

 

#1 is the upper pan hard rod support. #2 is the pan hard rod. #3 is the sway bar.... all of which in this pic are stock pieces.
