Lakewood actionlift bars?

I see a set of these listed in Jeg's for the 1982-02 Camaro/Firebird. It says they work with axle torque to lift and load the chasis. I've never heard of them for the f-body. I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of these being used for the lt1?

thanks

They WILL break because they put the suspension into a bind.

If I remember correctly there was a thread in LT1 Tech a while back about these and no one really seemed to care for them. It does sound like a good theory though.

Considering that people are pulling 1.2X 60-fts and running in the 8's with the stock style suspension, I'd question the need for anything like the Lakewood setup. An LCA relo bracket will give you enough "lift" to plant the tires.

I've also seen a few posts from people who had the Lakewood setup break welds, probably because of the suspension bind.

I can tell you first hand that they WILL break! I had mine on for about two months before I noticed some rattling. I got under the car to notice that the shock mount was broker completely on one and cracked on the other.

BIG WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!
