Stock replacement only. They're NOT an upgrade.

They're better then the decarbons, just don't expect Bilstein or Koni performance.

Unlike other products available for fbodies, shocks are one area where you really get what you pay for. Given the time involved in removing and replacing the front shocks, I'd save up for the bilsteins at the very least. Depending on what kind of usage they see, they will likely be the last shocks that you buy for your car.

Re: KYB GR-2 shocks any good?

waste of money and time. I bought them two weeks ago and figured they were cheap so i would give them a shot. They were garbage!! worse than the stockers i took out! dont waste your money just put some decent cash into a quality set. If you do get them and keep them on your car more than a week i will be impressed. Also my friend works at advance atuoparts and said they have problems with them because no one buys them so they sit in the warehouse and go bad, i dont know if this is true, but i know you should STAY AWAY!

I have several friends who have used the KYB AGXs and the GR-2s and they did not report very good feedback. Personally, I would just buy another pair of stockers or save up a little more change and get a pair of Bilsteins.

I know the GR2's are not favorable for the F-Body's, but I have a set of GR2's on my Grand Prix and they work great.
