Kyb gr-2

Going to order a set of these. Before I do, does anybody have any input? It seems to be the best deal. KYB for 200 shipped sounds great. I'm sure they'll be better than monroe or gabriel.

Who has them and how do you like them? I don't need people posting telling me to get koni or bilsteins. I'm not spending 400-800 on shocks.

Why are you sure they are better than Monroe or Gabriel?

If they're better, it's not by much. They're very close to OEM, maybe a touch firmer, and they are not intended for use in lowered applications. They're ok for stock replacement, but don't expect them to be a performance damper. If your shocks on your car now are done, they will be an improvement, otherwise, forget it.

I would recommend the KYB's. The Monroe Sensatrac are your best choice with Monroe because the Reflex isn't available for your vehicle. The Sensatrac is an older design.

Yep, that's all I'm looking for is a low cost stock replacement. My stockers are blown the F out, and I need new tires. Mine are worn in the worst possible way, and I wanna replace the shocks before I put new tires on.

I bought a set of rear shocks from that ebay seller as well. I bought the Gas-A-just versions. They work perfectly. Huge difference from 80K mile stock shocks. Very happy with the purchase.

I think those are a much better shock than what I'm considering.

I think I paid about $270 with all of the shipping charges for the entire set front and back. If you send me a PM I'll let you know where I bought the front shocks. I believe they were only $89 each plus shipping. It may be worth spending a bit extra especially since the front shocks are not an quick and easy job. The back ones went in really easy. 45mins at most.
