k- member torque specs

Re: k- member torque specs
for the 3rd or the 4th gen?
i cranked my down as hard as possible
they were metric 8.8 bolts that came from pa racing
metric 8.8 is equivalent to about a grade 5
that bothered me
i dont like PA racing
but when u look at bolt strengths, a single grade 5 can handle the streeses put on it by the weight and torque of the engine
so 6 of them cranked down tight should be fine

Re: k- member torque specs
for the 4th gen. mine have 10.9's in them so i feel pretty confident. i just used a cheater bar and cranked on them pretty good. i just usually always feel better using a torque wrench because i guess i am meticulous like that.
