Just installed Profab K-member and Lower A-Arms

Just finished up installing the tubular K-member and A-arms today.

The quality seems to be really good, welds all looked nice. Fitment was great, maybe a little too good.

Was pretty hard to get my power steering unit lined up exactly, and the A-arms were hard to get into the K member correctly. The enlongated bolt holes are only about an 1/8'' smaller than the rod ends, so when trying to slide them in usually one side would drop down into the hole and be cockeyed.

A few annoying things but not terrible: The stock front 4 bolts that hold the k-member on couldnt be reused. I had to get some shorter ones of the same size from a hardware store. Also the stock bolts used to hold the shock on the A-arms wouldnt work. Luckily i was able to use the old bolts that held the motor mounts onto the stock K-member.

Overall im happy. Havent had time to find something to anchor my brakelines too yet, but things look good. Definetly is a huge improvement on being able to get to things to work on.

Going to get it alligned next week, hopefully they dont have any trouble with the A-arm rod ends being gay in the bolt slots like i did.

I have been looking for the ProFab k member and a arms. What is the site I can find them on. All I have been able to find is the PA racing and the AJE.

Thanks. It turns out they have a dealer in Fort Worth. I'm going to run over there tomorrow.

What's the benefit of going w/ setup over BMR, Spohn, or AJE??

My roomate just tossed in his BMR K-member and upper/lower A-arms, and the fit is quite good.

Only benefit i can think of is the K-member is quite a bit cheaper i believe. I got a smoking deal on the K-member and A-arms from a guy who never installed them.

Some people say they have had issuses with profabs quality but so far im very happy. Ill be sure to keep an eye on the welds incase one gives out.
