Installed my Sportlines today

Well i tried anyways.

i did the rear first. went pretty easy.

and then i went ahead and started the front. It wasnt as easy. I did the drivers side first, moved the master cylinder, unbolted everything, couldnt get my tie rod end links off so i just said forget it and left the sway bar in place. took a while but i got it all worked out.

moved onto the pass side, unbolted everything, left the sway bar again, droped out the coil over and upper arm,

thats when i ran into a little problem, as i like to call it.

i compressed the spring, went to unbolt the nut that holds all the springs tension, and the thing is completely rusted, and good for nothing, It's not coming off without a grinder, which i dont happen to have.

Now i dont know weather to buy a new strut and upper mounting hardware, and just trash the old one, or to take it somewhere and see if they can do something with it.

I should be able to find the parts pretty easily, but i want it done now. i ran out of time tonight, so its got to sit till i have time tomorrow to mess with it.

the nut is basicly fused with the end of the strut treads. I know when u replace one strut, they say its best to do them both at the same time, but i dont want to spend the money. and i already had it completely apart and back together.

Anyone know of a good place to take it to? i rented the spring compressors from autozone, not sure how long i'm suppose to keep them for.
