Installed my LCA relocation brackets

Installed my LCA relocation brackets
I finally installed my new rear end tonite and while I was at it installed a set of bolt-in LCA relocation brackets I've had for awhile now.
My car is lowered about 1 1/4 in the rear by way of removing the spring isolator and using the uncut stock springs. I set the LCAs at the bottom hole and they are almost level.
I'm not sure what I think of them. I know the tires were cold during my test drive, but it seemed like the rear would get loose easier than before. On the up side, it wasn't violent at all when it did go sideways. My gears are new so I didn't try any hard launches. Might try moving the LCA up one hole and see what happens.

your traction may have been worse because your LCA's are level the need to be angled down ward to the rear axle so the transfer is correct if not your traction won't be to good.

Re: Installed my LCA relocation brackets
Level is ideal for cornering, lower in the back is ideal for straight line traction as the rear will try to rotate under torque and the LCAs will be pushing up on the body thus putting weigh on the rear axle. Raising the relocation bracket up one hole is going the wrong direction.

I'm surprised how much they changed the character of the car. They are angled slightly down toward the rear axle right now. I might mess around with them later after I break in the gears and try launching it.
