im getting ready to weld my cage in tomorrow. question is, should i fit the long trunk plastics before welding? it doesnt look like there will be room to squeeze them in after the job is completed. what should i have in the car before welding? right now EVERYTHING is taken out... everything. including gas tank...
When you weld the plate to the drivers side floor watch the fuel lines and have a fire extinguisher on hand. I learned the hard way. My rear interior pieces fit fine, it was the side panels that were hell
well the cage is in and looks great. i dont have the stock fuel lines in there so it didnt make a difference. running braided stainless lines down the senter of the body. the rear panels with the molded arm rest have to be trimmed and the kick panels in front have to be chopped. we left enough room on the top to slide the headliner in and out also. other then those 2 panels, doesnt look like anything else has to be trimmed. im loving this cage...
we also had to mod the back braces to the trunk, since i have a notch. came out perfect
