How to lube control arm bushings?

I bought some Energy Suspension control arm bushing and it came with the silicone lube packs. The parts looks pressed on so it would be almost impossible without destroying them to remove the outer shell to lube it. What do i do with the lube?

I believe you use those lube packs to lube the brackets of the LCA's so they slide on to the brackets a little easier. If you don't have any zerk fittings on the control arms you won't be able to lube them every time you change your engine oil.

Just put the silicone on the steel sleve before installing it in the bushing. That's it. It's a one time thing to keep the bushing from squeaking all the time. After installing the bushing wipe off all excess silicone to keep it from attracting dirt.

Alright i figured it out. I used it on the outside end parts where they meet the washers. I did the same thing on my rear control arms and it solved my squeeking problems.

They are not a press fit. Tap the sleeve out with a punch and you can pull the bushings out. Lube all surfaces for best results. Just lubing the outsides won't prevent squeaks down the road. For best results get a grease gun and a tube of silicone grease from Spohn or BMR and lube them periodically through the grease fittings.
