How long to instal master bushing kit?

I'm looking at buying the Energy Suspension poly. master kit and was wondering how long it would take to install in my garage. I'm pretty good working on cars, have lots of tools and a friend that owes me 10 hours of help. (i helped him build a garage)

Thanks

Re: How long to instal master bushing kit?

First we'll move it to the "Suspension....." forum.

The kit will have instructions. The hard parts are the front upper and lower A-arm bushings. The spring/shock cartridge will have to be removed (not separated). The stock A-arm bushings have to be pressed out or melted out with a torch. The new ES parts will goes back in fairly easilly, except for the lower A-arm vertical bushing. The ES part is a different design than the factory bushing, and requires that the "can" that holds the factory bushing be removed from the A-arm (is can be pounded out, but may be rusted very tight). Then is was a difficult to press the ES vertical bushing parts together, and required a fairly large C-clamp to get them in.

Its less than a full day's work.
