Help my car is twisting

My car is twisting so bad my hatch is no longer lined up and the T-tops on the driver side is getting a gap the passenger side is overlapping on to the wind shield. How can I stop this? SFC, k-member, torque arm, tunnle support, strut tower? I would like all of those but I can only afford the most effect way to stop the twisting.
PS have never ran slicks
any advice would be super
thanks Jason

well the damage is pretty much done. what kinda of engine do you have that causing twisting like that? sure the car wasnt in an accident? a cage and frames will prevent further damage, but if you weld in frames then the chassy will stay warped into its current state. i would get it strightened 1st then weld the frames in, then the cage to the frames

well you can have the unibody strightened. then weld the frames in to prevent it from happening again. the cage welds to the frames and comes through the body to tie the LH and RH sides togeather. im suprised the LT twisted it like that

I'd make sure it wasn't wrecked. I've seen 4th gens yank the driver's tire a good 8" higher than the passenger side and never have problems like this.

To limit chassis twist, subframe connectors will help, as will a solid rear sway bar or an "anti-roll" bar that will mount to the chassis of the car. You could also try a strut tower brace, but that will just keep the front from twisting.

If nothing else, check and make sure your rear sway bar isn't damaged/bent/broke. I just can't believe a relatively stock LT-car would do this...just not possible.

I have the same problam, got the SFC installed, but it seems the problem is only getting worse. Now got little dents in the all over the rear fenders from flex. Guess I got to get a cage

I have seen the seams at the fenders inside the hatch channel come apart from chassis flex.
And the dents as described above.
Never a severe twist as you describe, not with your power level. T-Tops in or out should not affect flex too much if at all. Not that much flex, anyway. What kind of fun were you having? Seriously, I agree that your situation is very unusual and may indicate previous damage and inferior repair.
6 pt cage should stop the problem, but I'd add SFC's as well if your mod list includes more hp.

Thanks for all the tips. I got new SFCs on the way as well as a good strut tower brace. I will have the rear control arm looked at, visually it looks fine. I hope these mods will hold it together

remember before you get a cage, your carpet and kick panels along with the rear seat panels will have to be modified. mine do anyways, nothing serious though
