Help with lower control arms

I feel like such an idiot asking this question but i recently got a fourth gen camaro after learning for a year about thirdgens. So here's the deal, i want to put the lower control arms on because a lot of people say it helps with stability and torque factors. Well could anyone give me a list of parts needed besides obviously the arm itself. And a step by step guide on how to install it so i don't ruin my new car. please!

Re: Help with lower control arms

http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech1.html is an excellent link to much factory stock info.

http://www.bmrfabrication.com/faqs.htm talks about the different types of control arms and bushings available from them.

You can just have a local welder box the stock ones with a flat piece of steel welded across the top. This is negative weight savings but is cheap and simple for added strength and durability.

Basically all you do is unbolt one and put the new one in. Do one side at a time and keep the rear end stable while the LCA is out. There's only 2 bolts.

Re: Help with lower control arms

I purchased tubular LCAs with one end poly, the other end sperical bearing. Poly on both ends will cause your suspension to bind when cornering. Sperical bearings on both ends willl transmit more road noise to the body. Some purists on the board only like rubber bushings as poly bushings can creep over time ovalizing the hole in the bushing. I haven't seen any evidence of this in my bushings.
