Hardware help with front suspension
Hardware help with front suspension
Here's the story bought a 96 formula with 220K miles from original owner.
He had the engine, trans, and rearend rebuilt at 200K miles.
Asked him about the front end he says he never did anything with it.
I plan on rebuilding the entire suspension but am starting with the front.
I have bought the following over the last 3 months, but have not installed anything yet.
New shocks, lowering springs, rotors, wheel hubs, rebuilt rack, upper and lower balljoints, inner and outer tie rods, brake pads, 32mm sway bar, master energy suspension kit (I'll have to remove the upper and lower a arms to replace bushings).
I think I have just about everything to rebuild my front suspension.
Question 1: I don't want to reuse the hardware (nuts, bolts, and washers).
Does anybody sell a suspension hardware kit, if not does anybody have a list of bolt sizes etc.. for the entire front end?
Question 2: What is the order to remove things and replace (the haynes manual seems to have a pretty good section and it appears to show the disassembly and reassembly in order. Can I use this as a guide?
I'm sure as I get into this I'll be asking a lot more questions but right now I need the answers to the first two.
Thanks, Any help would be appreciated

Start with the section on removing the front shock assemblies...the upper CAs will come out with them, then the LCAs, the swaybar and then the rack. I reused all of the hardware, with the exception of the top shock nuts.
