Question Front hals R series

How are the race series shocks for street use? I already have the hals in the rear and they are good.

Re: Front hals R series

I just put these in my car, and run them at full firm. With no front swaybar the car still rides really nice. At full soft I had problems with the exhaust scraping on bumps due to the bounce, but the ride height was a little low too at the time.

Re: Front hals R series

Get them installed??? They are super easy to install. Just undo the 4 bolts holding the strut up in the tower and you can pull the whole crap out. Take out the 2 bolts on the bottom, and your stock strut is gone. You will need a spring compressor to get the top mount off as you will need that. I used 7 inches from the bottom of the thread on the shock to the bottom of the spring to get it at stock ride height. Would of saved me some time if I had known that I adjusted the damn things so many times to get it right.
