frame swap for first gen

I'm starting to get motivated again on my 69... The drivers side rear subframe mount is rotted out. As is the middle pass side. I've seen some 68-72 Novas with later (75-79) subframes under them. Anybody swap a second gen X body subframe under a first gen?
I know there's work involved with this kind of swap but is there an advantage to the front steering geometry versus the first gen? Any thoughts or people that have done this swap?
Bet there's more room for headers with the second gen sub...? Bigger swaybars available, too?
Thanks
Mike

I've never read about it, and dunno how much trouble its going to be.. Why not just repair the rotten mounting points? Or if you really want to UPGRADE your subframe, I've been looking at http://www.waynedue.com/ his subframes.. They look great, and usually use all C4 or I think his newer ones use c5 parts. If i had the money I would have gone this route with my subframe.
I'd stick with the orginial if nothing else. If your having problems with bump steer and such there are a few things that can be done to correct the problem. I've seen were people still do a lot of road racing on the stock subframe with slight modifications.
