Factory bilstein shocks and springs

What would be the outcome of installing a set of factory Bilstein front shocks and springs out of a '01 car into a '97? I am thinking that it would result in some kind of drop in the front due to the LT1's greater weight. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I really don't think it will drop it any at all.

A complete LT1 is, AFAIK, about a hundred pounds heavier than an LS1. That means that it will drop about the same amount as it does when an average-sized person gets in the front seat, which is not much.
