Eibach drag launch springs

I see that these are not offered for 4th gen F-bodies any more. Was there a problem with them? I just pulled mine off the car because I'm installing coil over shocks. I was going to try to sell the Eibachs but I'm not going to if there are safety issues.

Re: Eibach drag launch springs

Mine have been on the rear of the car for 15 years, with no problems. They did raise the rear of the car about 1/4 - 1/2". But that actually helps with the 28" slicks. I traded them for my stock rear springs. A buddy had an 1,125 HP 30th SS convertible, and I think it was Madman that told him to go back to stock springs in the rear. The 30th was eventually running 1.2x 60-ft, low 8's at close to 170 MPH with my Firebird springs and another 225 HP (no longer an LT1 at that point). So it would appear there is really no advantage to the Drag Launch rears. Which may explain why they are no longer available.
