Eibach *** sag problem fixed???? maybe. spacers okay??

alright, im getting my moser ford 9" installed right now, and where the rear springs sit in the little mount on the housing it is basically a 3.5" diameter place, with a 2.25" diameter cylinder coming up from the middle. this is where the spring sits so it doesnt move around, now the cylinder on the ford 9" rises about 3.5" where the stock one only rises about 2 ish.

now here is my question, if i was to put a spacer there to raise the base of the spring up about 1\2 an inch, it would even out my ride out, and prevent me from hitting my bumpstops all the time. this is a very common problem with eibach kits.

my question is, say i make some type of a riser to bring it up that half inch, will it negatively affect my ride in anyway? for performance wise and \ or daily driving??
