e brake spring

how do i get that ****er back on?

bumpp.. if anyone knows this problem and how to tighten up the e-brake so i dont have to rip it all the way up to even start stopping the car (has new brakes btw)

oh and btw its the big spring that does a 90 and applys pressure back to the caliper so you dont ride the e-brake

your rear brakes are probably out of adjustment, the e-brake is self adjusting and should work all the time, do you have disk in the rear, or drum, if its drum adjust the star wheel out unil you get a slight drag on the drums and beleive me you will notice a difference in brakes, or if its disk then take off the rotor and turn down your adjustment....

if it is disk put your e-brake 1/2 way up to where you want it, and adjust till tight
