Will a 3 series 2:73 axle fit into a 3 series 3:42 rearend? I need to replace a axle in my 3:42 rearend. Thanks

 

The AXLES will interchange. The 2.73 CARRIER and 3.42 CARRIER are NOT interchangable though ... 2.73 is 2-series, 3.42 is 3-series.

What exactly is broke that you need to replace? If you're looking at putting 2.73's into your M6 ... well, I guess so? You'll never see 6th gear again!!

 

I had 2.73 rear end and purchased a 3.42 rear end from a z that flipped over a few times so i was going to swap axles over. Thanks
