i noticed some oil on my trailer... right and left side. checked everything and the top of the strut body has oil running down it like its leaking from the piston. Ever heard of this before?

I had one leak too. I sent it to an authorized rebuild shop. Costed me $83 to have it rebuilt. Mine failed after 11K miles.

$83? was that just a standard rebuild or did that include any additional parts? The place where I sent mine rebuilds them for $45 if no extra parts are needed.

I got the "standard" rebuild for $83 to my door. I think the rebuild labor was something like $45 but they stated that there were certain parts that had to be replaced for every rebuild; so parts and labor and shipping came to $83. You may have a better source for the rebuild.

This may sound like a dumb question, but (if they're the adjustables) how high did you guys have them set when they leaked?

Interesting. And it was coming out of the piston shaft seal, or the end cap threads? Are they mounted in the same locations as stock? Side load sometimes causes this type shock to "burp" oil out past the piston shaft seal.
