car sitting low in back

I weighed my car sat on the way back from rockingham. I notised on the truck scales, which are level, that the car was sitting *** low. one of the other f body owners said the lower control arms need to be level, mine aren't,
do I need new springs?
will they help me hook better?
lower control arm relocation brackets are on the way, supporting vendor, will this be any improvement?

sagging *** = old springs.

if you are changing springs and are on a budget, check out your local junk yard. switching out to v6 struts in the front and v6 springs in the back is a cost effective way to get more traction.

some people on this board say that doing that is retarded. But I got this trick from the shop foreman of a performance shop I work at. the shop has been in GMTHP, is a sponsor on a few other fbody forums, is a sponsor of the ls1tech car, and one of the vehicles is actually on powertv on spike tv every time it shows. (they show the shop foreman's car launching whenever they come back from commercial breaks)

Since there are no struts on a 4th Gen, exactly what components of the front "coil over" spring/shock assembly are you recommending - the spring, the shock, or both?
