I have the LS1 calipers only and was wondering what else I needed, and if I can just modify the stock lt1 knuckles. I did many searches and from what I gathered I can reuse my lt1 hubs, but I will need the caliper mounting brackets, and ls1 knuckles (maybe). I am going with new rotors in the front and new pads so those will not be needed. Can't I just cut of the 'ear" on the knuckle? Any links of what or where to cut?

 

AFAIK, you must use the LS1 knuckles.

 

I really wouldn't try, you should be able to get them cheap and its safer than having 2 pieces or a shady modification. Besides, the ls1s are lighter so you save some weight.
