Can someone please help me?

Hey everyone, i just ordered these new control arm bushings and i am prepping my control arms for them...Can someone please explain what they mean by my old washers and sleeves...It says i need to keep them. I just want to be sure i dont destroy a part i still need....Below is the diagram they sent for the install....

There is a cylindrical metal ferrule (sleeve) inside the stock rubber bushing. When installed, the bolt passes through the ferrule.You have to recover that from the stock rubber bushing, after you melt the bushing out of the sleeve.

It's been 17 years since I did my front suspension. I do not remember if there was a washer or not. If there was, it would be between the outside end of the bushing and the metal of the control arms that the bushing rubs against.

Pretty much exactly as shown in the diagram.

Thanks Injueer, i appreciate the help...One last question...Does anyone sell replacement ferrules, one of mine got tossed out by mistake.
