I have the hardest time hooking up at the track. Mostly I think it's my right foot control, but even pedaling I don't hook until half way through 2nd gear. I'm starting to wonder if I have my BMR LCA too low on the relocation brackets. They are bolted to the bottom hole. Could that cause problems?

Some relevant mods:
M6, 10 bolt, 4.10 gears, nitto DR, spec 3, tubular lca and phr, SLP sfc, stock springs, bilstein hd rear shocks

 

Are you lowered?

for a car that rides at stock height, with stock height tire usually the stock hole ( top hole) works the best..

right now im in the middle hole but its just to test it out, i have no results yet

Trial and error is the best way to set up a car perfect. Even the settings of two identical cars will differ a little.

 

A chassis mounted adj. TA would greatly help your problem. The thing is, the lack of traction is what's helping your 10 bolt stay alive with your manual trans.

 

That's the reason I haven't installed a TA yet...

 

I hear ya. I too could use a decent rearend, just for the piece of mind.

At least I win something this year. This douchbag hangs a wheel with a STOCK motor tho', no hooking problems here, just tryin' to help you see that a lack of a torque-arm is a traction problem for many. May not be your only one however.

 

Nitto's is one of the issues i see.....
