Can anyone tell me what number two in this picture is? I can't seem to find anything that labels it... on a 94 z28

 

What part?The page looks like a home page for a 1994 parts lookup.

People have told me it's a track bar brace , panhard bar and other things but I still can seem to find any part that looks like it when I search those parta

 

That is a structural brace for the panhard rod mounting arm. The factory service manual however refers to it as "Brace Assembly, Rear Axle Tie Rod Bracket". I tried a search using that term, and it only appears to turn up the bracket that the brace attaches to.

Do you need a factory replacement, or are you looking for an upgraded component? Stock piece is probably best found in a salvage yard. BMR sells a replacement, but it is intended to relocate the upper brace to clear dual exhaust.

I found this at Suburban Chevy in Oregon.They call it a track bar brace.Part #10019526.$75.00 plus shipping and add an extra cost to shipping because it contains hazardous materials.What ever that means.The junk yards here in L.A. have many 4th gen cars with these cheap.Hope this helps.
