Ive got an 8 point now that im finishing out to a 12 point and ive seen two different styles. one has a roof hoop that loops from one side of the main hoop up to the windshield and around to the other side of the main hoop. the front bars go from the top of the windshield down to the floor. the second style ive seen has the front bars that come up from where your feet are turn at the roof and go back to the main hoop. the two sides are connected with a tube at the top of the windshield.

My question is Whats the difference and is one better than the other?
