Can you put the new 06-07 C6 calipers on a LS1 I am sure you need brakets and all the other goods but would this set up work?

Just the calipers with stock rotors? No.

 

Lots of guys are putting them on a C5 with little modification. The limiting factor on a C5 is the wheel size to fit the larger diameter. Do a search on corvetteforum.com there are good tutorials. For the cost vs. performance even on a C5 I am told by many roadracers that the C5 brakes with stainless braided hoses and hiperformance fluid,pads is all you need.
