C5 Brackets with LS1 Calipers?

I have the LS1 brake upgrade on my car right now(a 96 Z28), and I'm planning on either doing a Wilwood brake upgrade or the C5 upgrade. So, since I already have the LS1 calipers, can I just buy the bracket and some C5 rotors then call it good? I know the C5 calipers and LS1 calipers are pretty much the same except for how they're made. But the mouting points are the same. So, upgrading to the C5 stuff would only require new rotors, correct? I don't think the pads are a big deal since you can get some pretty agressive pads for the LS1 brakes, as well as some nice street pads. Also, swapping out pads on these calipers is a 10-15 minute job. So, would this work? Thanks.

Yes the calipers will interchange.

Does anyone have a comparison of the LS1 pads and C5 pads?

I run C5 pads on my LS1 brakes and my GTO brakes. I don't know the difference between the LS1 f-body pads and the C5 pads, but not much. The GTO pads on the other hand just have less pad material.

I run Hawk HPS pads on my car. you will need different caliper mount brackets to use the LS1 calipers with the C5 rotors.

Baer brakes 13" setup is basically the same as the above set-up and a lot cheaper.

How do you figure the Baer setup is cheaper? It would run be about $250 to convert to the C5 rotors. I know a guy selling the C5 brackets, and the rotors are only about $20 each, then all I'd need is pads, which are about $80.
