Break dash light, brakes need pumping
Guys, need some help. In the last 3 weeks, I have had to at various times pump my brake pedal to stop adequately. My brake dash light comes on intermittently and one day I suspected I saw brake fluid leaking from the point where the master cylinder bolts to the brake booster. I also found I was quite low on fluid at that time.
I dont suspect a break in any line but do suspect the master cylinder has gone bad; Im not 100% sure. I bought a new cylinder but it requires me to transfer my old reservoir over- is that difficult to do? SEcondly, Im aware the brakes will need to be bled afterwards. Is there any harm in waiting a day or so since it is a 2 man job?

No it's usually held on with an O-ring (I've never changed the one in my Z but I expect it's similar). You should be able to gently pop it out.
