brakes for 95 lt1

hi, im new to this forum; i just recently purchased a lt1 and i want to change the brakes on it, what kind of rotors and pads would u guys recommend, oh yea and there rear disc brakes

An LS1 front brake upgrade is a pretty common option. Requires changing the front spindles, calipers, pads, rotors and brake lines. Found used can be a pretty good bang for the buck if you want to increase braking performance.
If it's just time for some brakes and you want a small improvement, regular replacement rotors and some hawk pads will work pretty well.
The LT1 brake setup is pretty weak. It's actually the same brakes that you will find on a Buick or oldsmobile of the same era. I don't know what GM was thinking using the same brakes on their performance line as they do on their old lady grocery haulers.
