Brake Line Issues

Been fighting brake line leaks since installing an SJM ABS Delete kit. Leaks from the bottom of the solenoid and from the fittings going into the front manifold that replaces the ABS unit. Any tips on stopping brake line fittings from leaking?

Re: Brake Line Issues

I might guess the fittings could be the wrong size/thread or something wrong with the flare.

Re: Brake Line Issues

Flares going into the ABS Delete manifold appear to be bubble flares, the other ends - to the "stock" brake system are standard double flares, and don't leak. Could I tell by looking at the ABS Delete Manifold whether or not it was designed to accept bubble fittings.
