Could be from the pressure differential switch by the master cylinder. Now that all your work is done, it might be ok. Try pressing on your brake pedal real hard. If you hear a click, the light should go out.

The "BRAKE" light indicates two different things.... 1) The e-brake is on, or the switch is stuck "on". or 2) there is a significant difference in line pressure between the front and rear braking circuits, or the switch in the block on the side of the ABS motor assembly is stuck.

Any way to un stick that switch? Or would bleeding the brakes again help?

Shoebox told you the typical way to "unstick" the pressure differential switch. Apply an extremely high pedal pressure. If that doesn't solve the problem, then the light may actually be telling you there is a problem with the brakes, and you need to find out what it is. Did you bleed the ABS unit first?

Sometimes an investment of less than $20 in a Chilton's manual will save you a lot of grief over the life of owning the car.
