brake conversion?

just curious if anybody knows what all i would need to do a brake conversion on my car from the lt1 brake set-up over to the ls1-style brake set-up. since the bolt patterns are the same, all i need is the calipers, rotors, and pads, right? are the lines the same or do i need to get new lines too?

i'm about to have to fix my brakes again, and i figured if i've got to fix 'em, i might as well upgrade. my rear calipers are starting to lock up and it's causing uneven wear on my rotors/pads, so that's the first to go... so any info you can give me will be appreciated, since i've got to fix my rear brake problem pretty quick lol.

thanx.

You need spindles also. LT1 spindles are different than LS1.

You won't see much of an improvement on the rear with the LS1 brakes over the LT1 brakes. Just fix what ya got.

Re: brake conversion?

I think this is the 5th time I've seen a question about an LS1 upgrade this week.
