brake bleeding problems

This past weekend i put a new engine in(went out the bottom so i unbolted all the brake lines) and did a rear swap so today i went to bleed my rear brakes and when pumping the brake pedal it doesnt get stiff at all...and when i open the bleeder screws there's no air escaping, just brake fluid comes out the screws.

Also, when the brakes are pressed the rear calipers dont clamp the rotors at all

any ideaS?

Re: brake bleeding problems

When I reinstalled my motor and rebuilt my rear, I had disconnected the brake lines at the manifold in the front and near the fuel filter in the rear. If you did the same, you have to push out all the fluid between those break points and the calipers before the introduced air can escape. Don't forget to refill your resevoir from time to time and make sure your e-brake is off. I have traction control and abs and that did not cause any trouble.
