Bob Bishop C5 brake conversion Q's

I have a '95 TransAm.
What brake SS brake lines can I use for Bob's C5 brake conversion?
Can I just get the standard 5 piece ( I think it is a 5 peice set) Stainless steel braided set for my car?
or do I absolutely need the C5 brake lines(which I think are 4 peice sets)?
Also clarification on the 4 or 5 piece set would be nice.

I want to do all front and rear brake lines at the same time so it would be ideal If I could just purchase the proper F-Body brake lines.

Also,
Does anyone know of the correct p/n (or size) to order russel or earl's solo brake bleeders?
I hear the front and rears are not the same size and I want to order this stuff before I install new brakes.

The C5 caliper and the LS1 caliper are about the same(minor differences in how they're made), so you should be able to buy the LS1 stainless line kit. The LS1 rear lines will work on the LT1 rear calipers.

Why do you need 5 brake lines, do you have traction control?

I've done the C5 conversion and the correct front lines are the C5 corvette front stainless lines.

The LS1 rear lines fit on LT1 rear calipers just fine.

If you want to do what I did, you can buy the front and rear lines seperately from www.stoptech.com You can order them right off that website. Just get C5 front stainless lines and LS1 stainless rear lines.

Great Info!
I wasn't sure why there were kits with 5 lines ( I guess it was for traction control applications).
That clears it up. thx
