BMR SFCs on a 99 Conv Install

I just got off the phone with the shop, and the guy asked me a question I wasn't even remotely expecting. He needed to know if the subframe connectors are just bolt ins, or if it had to go through the floor. I was under the impression that it's welded to the subframe in two spots, and then on the bottom of the floorpans. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Yeah...nothing goes through the floor. Just welded in the front and in the rear to the subframes. Just be careful on the driver side though...the front welding points are very close to your fuel lines.

You might want to visit the guy again and have him show you what he plans to do before he starts welding.
