Re: BMR Fabrication Torque Arm

When you lower your car you will probably have clearance issues with the torque arm and the tunnel and possibly with the parking brake cable bracket. I did when I installed an adjustable BMR torque arm.
I cut out a section of the tunnel and welded a piece in to give the torque arm more room. I also moved the parking brake cable bracket to one side about 3/4". No more clearance issues.

Re: BMR Fabrication Torque Arm

i didnt take a good look for any other possible clearance issues

i didnt have any problems putting the torque arm in, at least not with the e-brake cables or brackets

its a pretty loud rattle for what its worth

Re: BMR Fabrication Torque Arm

This is a little off topic but I have a Universal trak pak or whatever its called. It was on the car when i bought it. It has clearance issues with the tunnel. Whenever I shift hard or anything like it, it bangs against the tunnel. I think the past owner installed it too high when he welded it in with the bar that goes across. Looks like I am probably going to have to cut the weld and redo it. Also, it still has the stock driveshaft.

I got the BMR TQ arm w/ the stock driveshaft. Set the pinion angle to -2. I have no clearance issues. THe only clearance issues I have are the Y-pipe for the LT's. But that's a different story.
