Big problems with steering/suspension setup, need a direction to start from. HELP!
Let me start by listing what I have done to get to this point of suckage:
Hal 12 way adjustable shocks all around with stock springs.
Rag Joint eliminator
315mm rear tires, 275mm fronts
everything else is basically stock in the suspension catagory.
Now, the car is super rough, yet it still bottoms out. I know that the bump stops on the rear are shot, but even so, I cant set the Hals firm enough to get rid of the bottoming out on the 17x11's with super rolled fender lips. The car tramlines pretty bad, and over rough spots on the highway seems to become completly disconnected with the road. High speed cornering seems to be okay, but thats about it.
The front tires seem to be wearing on the outsides, and I am probably going to be swapping on a new set of 255's in the near furture to replace the 275's (hopefully reducing the tramlining). The front passenger side hal seems to be covered in some fluid, probably a failing shock, although the front end is very firm, and i physically cant make the front end flex at all really, so I am not sure that the shock is really affected.
I am thinking that an alignment is probably in order, but it cant be way off as the car drives down the road super straight (as long as the road is smooth), and the tires wore on the outsides pretty slowly.
Not really sure where to start, my brakes are also need for concern as the BRAKE! light has been on since my engine swap, and I have bled the system and abs block about 5000 times. The brakes feel fine, they just suck when I press them in hard, other then that they are fine.
So, someone point me in some direction because my brain hurts.
